Do I need an account?
No. Printz works fully on your phone without one. Signing in (More → Create an account or sign in) backs up your pets and keeps them in sync across your devices, and lets you share pet profiles by link.
How do I add a pet, record, or reminder?
Tap the coral + button in the middle of the tab bar and choose what to add. You can also add records and reminders from a pet’s profile.
How do I attach a vaccine certificate or other document?
Open the record, tap Attach a document, and choose a PDF from Files or a photo from your library. Attached documents are included when you export a pet’s records.
How do I send my pet’s records to a vet or boarding facility?
On your pet’s profile, tap Export Full Records (PDF) and share the file by email, Messages, or AirDrop. Or tap Share Profile to create a link or QR code that opens in any browser.
How do share links work, and how do I stop sharing?
A share link shows only the sections you turn on, and only until it expires. To turn a link off right away, open the pet’s Share screen and tap Stop sharing.
I’m not getting reminder notifications.
Make sure notifications are on in More → Reminder notifications and in your phone’s Settings → Notifications → Printz. Reminders arrive at 9 AM, three days before and on the due date.
My pets didn’t show up on my new phone.
Sign in with the same email address you used before (More → Create an account or sign in). Your pets download within a few seconds. Make sure the phone has an internet connection.
How do I delete my data or my account?
To delete everything on this phone, go to More → Delete all data. To delete your account and all of its data, sign in and go to More → Delete account. This permanently removes your pets, records, documents, reminders, and share links from our servers and from your phone.
