Privacy Policy

Effective October 4, 2026

Printz helps you keep your pets’ health records, reminders, and documents in one place. This policy explains what information Printz handles, why, and the choices you have. In short: your information is used only to run the app for you. We don’t sell it, we don’t show ads, and we don’t track you across other apps or websites.

Information stored on your device

Everything you enter — pet profiles, photos, health records, attached documents, and reminders — is stored on your phone. If you never create an account, this information stays on your device and is not sent to us.

If you create an account

Creating an account is optional. If you sign in, we store the following so we can back up your information and sync it across your devices:

• Your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code and to respond if you contact us.
• The pet information you enter: pet profiles and photos, health records and their attached documents, and reminders.

This information is protected so that only your account can access it, except for what you choose to share (below).

Share links

If you create a share link for a pet, anyone with that link can view the information you selected for it — for example vaccinations and their attached documents, medications and allergies, vet contact details, emergency notes, and the pet’s photo — until the link expires or you turn it off. Only share links with people you trust.

Notifications

Reminder notifications are scheduled on your phone. We don’t send them from our servers, and we don’t collect a notification token.

Photos and files

Printz accesses your photo library or files only when you choose a photo or document to add, and only the items you pick.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run Printz. They process information only on our behalf:

• Supabase — account sign-in, database, and file storage for signed-in users.
• Expo — hosting for the share-link web pages and this website.
• Google (Gmail) — sending sign-in code emails.

These providers may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) for security and reliability.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell or rent your information.
• We don’t use your information for advertising, and the app contains no ads.
• We don’t use analytics or tracking tools, and we don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your account information for as long as you have an account. You can delete any pet, record, document, or reminder in the app at any time. More → Delete all data removes everything from your device and, if you’re signed in, from your account.

To delete your account entirely, go to More → Delete account in the app. This immediately and permanently deletes your account and all of its information — pet profiles, photos, records, documents, reminders, and share links — from our servers and from your phone. If you can’t access the app, email kellenyoung4@gmail.com from the address you sign in with and we’ll delete your account within 30 days.

Children

Printz is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your information. Contact us and we’ll help.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above, and for significant changes we’ll let you know in the app.
